Energy transition at FORSTERS Posthotel**** in Donaustauf
Professionalism in gastronomy today means doing everything for the well-being of guests. Gourmets must also be delighted with perfect regional and international cuisine in an appealing ambience. In addition, the management of the restaurant is of great importance. As down-to-earth entrepreneurs, Reinhold and Monika Forster focus on sustainability in their concept. The new 35 kW natural gas cogeneration plant is therefore a competitive advantage in economic terms and a key component of the company strategy in ecological terms. The combined generation of electricity and heat reduces and stabilizes energy costs and saves considerably on primary energy and CO2 emissions, and the plant will go into operation in good time before the deadline of 31 July 2014. Project news: 12 MW seawater heat pump
What great news!
We are incredibly proud and delighted that, together with our partner IWR GmbH, we have been awarded the planning contract for a 12 MW seawater heat pump including seawater extraction and a biomass heating plant as part of the cross-border UNITED HEAT project.
On November 28, 2025, it was that time again: our annual Christmas party was just around the corner - and as every year, our employees and their partners were able to look forward to a special evening. For many, the party is already a fixed part of the Advent season and is always a real highlight in the annual calendar.
This time, too, we were treated to the finest cuisine by Restaurant Schwögler. The kitchen and service team provided great food, warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere to ensure that everyone felt completely at ease.
Our health officer Evi Wittmann has organized a professional bioimpedance analysis for our employees - a valuable service to help them better understand their own body composition.
