Good things come to those who wait! - Feldkirchen/Westerham heating network
Since 2017, our project development team, led by Dr. Stefanie Reil and Tobias Backhaus, has developed and pushed the project with the necessary perseverance; without the two experts, this pioneering energy transition project would have disappeared into oblivion again.
After more than 7 years and countless, sometimes nerve-wracking hours, the energy partner contract for the use of waste heat has now been signed.
Florian Prantl's team has already started planning the energy center and the heating network and will now implement the idea and the concept (waste heat recovery, biomass boiler, gas redundancy...) from our project development.
Thank you very much for your tireless and persistent efforts and good luck with the implementation of the project!
Gammel Engineering is proud of the passion, determination and perseverance with which the project was developed. And of the fact that they never gave up, even when new challenges had to be overcome time and again!
What great news!
We are incredibly proud and delighted that, together with our partner IWR GmbH, we have been awarded the planning contract for a 12 MW seawater heat pump including seawater extraction and a biomass heating plant as part of the cross-border UNITED HEAT project.
On November 28, 2025, it was that time again: our annual Christmas party was just around the corner - and as every year, our employees and their partners were able to look forward to a special evening. For many, the party is already a fixed part of the Advent season and is always a real highlight in the annual calendar.
This time, too, we were treated to the finest cuisine by Restaurant Schwögler. The kitchen and service team provided great food, warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere to ensure that everyone felt completely at ease.
Our health officer Evi Wittmann has organized a professional bioimpedance analysis for our employees - a valuable service to help them better understand their own body composition.
