For exactly one year now, yoga has been an integral part of our company routine! Every Tuesday after work, around 8 to 12 employees meet for a yoga session with Susanne Ohneis. What originally began as a test phase has now become a fixed part of our health program - and many colleagues can no longer imagine their weekly schedule without it.
The regular sessions help to balance body and mind, relieve tension and recharge your batteries after a day at work.
If you had to describe to other colleagues why it's worth taking part - what would you say?
Ines: "Yoga is not just relaxation for body and mind - yoga is movement, yoga is simply fun. I used to think: 'Yoga, that's not for me', I probably had the wrong idea. Today, I can only recommend it."
Christina: "It's easier than you think and a lot of fun together. Susanne is also just great. It can't do any harm - give it a try!"
Have you noticed changes in yourself that you didn't expect?
Ingrid: "Yoga has made me realize how good it is to simply switch off and enjoy the peace and quiet without being constantly available. Yoga has also become an integral part of my free time."
Are there any differences that you notice in your everyday working life?
Ingrid: "Maybe it's just my imagination, but I have the feeling that I've become more relaxed in stressful situations."
Anja:"I'm more aware of my posture and tension."
The company yoga not only improves health, but also strengthens the sense of togetherness in the team. After a year, we can draw an all-round positive conclusion and look forward to many more relaxing Tuesdays with Susanne and our yoga mats!
