Mr. Brunner from the Regensburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce livened up our in-house Windows Word advanced training course with lots of interesting background information. On both Tuesday afternoons, Mr. Brunner managed with wonderful ease not only to bring all participants up to a common level of knowledge, but also to bring the respective topics to "the woman" in an entertaining way. The fact that Gudrun Gammel also surprised us with an ice cream refreshment once again shows how attentively and cordially the Gammel family treats each other.

On Wednesday, June 28, 2023, the first "Green Hydrogen from Bavaria" trailer was ceremoniously welcomed in Pfeffenhausen with around 120 people in attendance. The assembly of the electrolyzer system technology began at the same time. Mayor Florian Hölzl, District Administrator Peter Dreier (District of Landshut) and District Administrator Christoph Göbel (District of Munich) were keen to thank everyone involved, but also to get the team around Project Manager Dr. Tobias Brunner ready for the final spurt.

On Saturday, 24.06.2023, our employee Keven Puntus married his dream girl Tamara. The civil ceremony took place in the afternoon in the sunshine at the Archaeological Museum in Kelheim. As a surprise for the beautiful bride and groom, colleagues and management stood in the wedding procession and offered gifts and congratulations. It was touching to see the joy in the eyes of the bride and groom and to be able to share the first few minutes of their new life together.

Our Marion Schuler has been part of the inventory since June 1, 1991. She has been through all the moves, every change, operational, technical... But the family milestones are also always closely linked in the memories of Gudrun and Michael Gammel with her hearty laugh, which can be heard throughout the office. With great gratitude for her commitment and loyalty and, of course, with our very best wishes, we sent Marion into her well-deserved retirement today over a small drink. To make the transition easier (for us too, of course...), dear Marion will hopefully remain part-time with the Gammel family for a long time to come, which we are of course very happy about!

Fifteen years ago, the construction of the biomass cogeneration plant and district heating for the city of Cham still had to overcome considerable reservations and resistance from the population. Today, everyone has realized and, of course, knows that district heating is the best possible solution for decarbonization in the heating sector and in power generation.

It's finally summer - cold drinks are in demand! On our Managing Director Michael's birthday, every employee received an engraved designer drinking bottle at their workplace. Ideal for cold drinks in the current midsummer temperatures. Only Michael Gammel and Gammel Engineering do that: giving presents to the company family on their own birthday! Thank you!

To mark his birthday, the owner of our engineering company, Michael Gammel, took the opportunity to invite the staff to a summer BBQ lunch in the beautiful garden area. On Friday lunchtime, we enjoyed an outstanding meal prepared by the boss himself on a spit while enjoying the good weather and pleasant conversations. The cool beer and the wonderful wine in the beautiful garden ambience led to an exuberant atmosphere. Thank you very much, Michael, and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best for the coming year, and above all good health!

The canteen at Abensberg primary and secondary school was inaugurated on Wednesday with music, good wishes and God's blessing. Gammel Engineering with project manager veteran Frank Ulbrich handled the technical building services planning for the difficult construction in existing buildings and during ongoing school operations with joy and great commitment. It is always a pleasure when a project is successfully completed in our home town. If this project serves the well-being of our children and families, so much the better!

Together with specialist companies, employees from the waterworks and the Abensberg municipal utility company lifted a 28-tonne pellet store in Stadionstraße over the TSV gymnasium and placed it next to the existing heating center with local heating network. The heating center also received a new pellet boiler. The new module is now attached directly next to it. The Gammel Engineering team planned the existing system and now also the extension. We would like to thank our client for their trust and all those involved for their excellent cooperation. Another important measure for the energy transition in our home town of Abensberg.

On 23.05.2023 it was finally time again! Our entertainment manager Ingrid invited us to the annual asparagus dinner at the Waltl Hof in Sandharlanden. A really nice "after-work gourmet evening" with interesting and funny conversations in a relaxed atmosphere.

Best for health and team spirit: exercising, talking, laughing, eating and drinking together - we do it and have great fun!

At the request of our team, we have once again organized a basic first aid course at our Abensberg headquarters. Anyone can very quickly find themselves in a first aid situation with their family or when out and about, and every second counts when it comes to saving lives.
